近年来,现代化"数字健康"在数据科学领域取得了长足进步,为改善患者护理提供了许多机会。本讲座将全景式介绍现代医疗健康技术的发展现状与前景,并列举牛津大学在开发改善患者生活的医疗健康干预措施方面的研究实例。
Modern capabilities in AI for "digital health" have advanced a great deal over recent years, and offer many opportunities for improvements in patient care. This talk will provide a bird's-eye view of the landscape in modern (non-imaging) Medical AI, with examples from Oxford research in creating healthcare interventions based on AI that are making impact with patients' lives. This incorporates research using sensor data, hospital records, -omics, and natural language processing.

Clifton教授是英国皇家工程院首席科学家,牛津大学工程科学系教授,兼任牛津大学高等研究院(苏州)首席科学家。他是NIHR首位机器学习领域的讲席教授,领导牛津大学工程科学系计算健康信息学 (CHI) 实验室。Clifton教授同时兼任阿兰-图灵研究所研究员、曼彻斯特大学数字健康客座教授和中国9001cc金沙首页研究员。
Professor Clifton is Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Clinical Machine Learning at the University of Oxford. He was the first AI researcher to be appointed as an NIHR Research Professor, and leads the Computational Health Informatics (CHI) Lab, within the Department of Engineering Science. He is a Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute, Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and Visiting Chair in AI for Health at the University of Manchester.
